Smoothie Pops

The summer months are upon us my friends and I have been thinking about hot days filled with yard games, barbecues and cool treats!

These delicious Smoothie Pops are just the thing to satisfy dancers between days spent outdoors and evenings in the studio.

Our perfect pops are simple to make, quick to freeze and filled with nutritious ingredients to keep kiddos full and fueled in between meals.

For this recipe I used a mix of frozen strawberries, raspberries, fresh banana and spinach. I also added a teaspoon of Zarbee’s Elderberry syrup for an extra immunity boost. I LOVE adding this to both mine and my sons smoothies regularly to prevent and ward off illness.

Be sure to read package instructions since doses vary.

You can also substitute different fruits or greens too! Mix it up with some blackberries and blueberries or add kale instead of spinach. It’s always fun to create together with kiddos in the kitchen!

And if you’re wondering where I found these adorable Popsicle molds, I picked these up at Walmart for lest than $2 bucks a piece! They have several different summer themed molds that help disguise how healthy and nutritious these pops are and make them simply fun to eat!

My sons favorite treat!

NOTE: If you want an extra smooth texture, feel free to strain the smoothie, removing all seeds before adding to the Popsicle molds.

-Pour smoothie into Popsicle molds, covering the stick, but being cautious not to over fill. Cover with plastic wrap to prevent any spills.

Hope you Enjoy!
